Because I’m poor at math, I accidentally over bought in October.
Good news is that this month’s list is rather short and most every item can be purchased from Aldi! YAY Aldi!!
The following are the items still needed to supplement 4 families’ pantry needs. If you need more info on exactly what Feed A Neighbor is and how this program works, you can click here and read all about it. This program is a work in progress and is continually being tweaked to serve my neighbors better.
Thanks for partnering with me in this journey.
4 cans of tomato paste
4 cans of beef broth (or 2 cartons)
4- 9oz. packages of refrigerated ravioli
4-12oz packages of thick spaghetti noodles, think fettucini
2 cans of evaporated milk
9 cans of black beans
4 cans of tomato sauce
4 cans of condensed mushroom soup
4 cans of condensed celery soup
4 cans of condensed chicken soup
2 small bottles of french dressing (or 1 large)
1 large bottle of lemon juice
chicken bullion cubes
minced garlic (in the jar)
2 bags of onions
1 pkg, mozzarella cheese
1 pkg of cheddar cheese
6 green peppers
2 pkgs of celery
6 bags of rice
I am able to purchase all meat items with donations and for this month, we’re covered. So locals, raid your pantry and throw your cans at me. As long as they’re in date, I’ll take them. If you’ve got $15 burning a hole in your pocket, you could knock out a fourth of this list at Aldi and get loved on by their great staff.
Let me know if you have any questions or you have groceries to drop off by Thursday, November 13. I’m happy to help answer them and coordinate your efforts to help me love my neighbors.
