May you pile your family into the car for a trip out of town.
May you arrive for the $2 movie, 30 minutes early and NOT find the movie sold out.
May you make a trip to the mall to do some window shopping and NOT find the entire mall closed due to flooding.
May you laugh and embrace each moment, knowing it’s the small moments, planned or unplanned, that make up the one life you’ve been given.
And may you hold both hands wide open to receive grace…especially when it is not packaged the way you imagined.
Happy weekend, y’all.
And for those of you who need some snippets of reading and listening, here are my favorites from the week. Enjoy~
Jen Hatmaker~ For those of you have been living under a rock or on some Facebook fast for a week, this is the best thing I’ve read in about 6 months. Laugh out loud, wet your pants funny!!!!
Kristen, Allume~ For when you feel guilty about embracing the gift you’ve been given…
Vivien Maier~ She may have been the most important street photographer of the 20th century…Beautifully captured real people in real life and never showed a single photograph to anyone.
The Naptime Diaries~ Only because she creates beautiful prints for the wall and she’s giving away a free download of a print I love! Enjoy.
And my favorite song of the week. Probably the year. Only listen if you want to download it to your device and play it over and over and over. Oh, the print from The Naptime Diaries is a verse from the this song. Happy, Happy, Happy!
