I woke early this morning to sunlight streaming into my favorite room of this house.
I tiptoe to the kitchen for a cup of coffee and I sit in the window of the parlor, our school room.
The sun’s rays are warm on my bare legs and I very aware of the quiet.
Warm sunshine on my legs
Quiet -in my house and in my soul
My soul is quiet, fear has subsided. If the Lord is my stronghold, whom shall I fear?
Light always illuminates what is hidden in the dark and in the morning sunlight, all is clear.
As I watch our neighborhood begin to stir, my own heart stirs and I know we are home.
Home. This place the Lord has brought us to and where we choose to love our neighbor. Where He will not abandon us. Where we will learn to trust Him, with everything.
I hear little feet upstairs, so I close with a simple thank you. Thank you for always encouraging our hearts with Truth, for praying without ceasing, and for loving us. We are so blessed to walk with you…though many miles apart.
Much Love, Lori
